The inspiration behind these paintings stems from the use of canvas made from the iconic Hallingdal 65 fabric, first launched in 1965 through a collaboration between Nanna Ditzel and Gudbrandsdalen Uldvarefabrik.

For this artwork, I utilized coarse, natural fiber brushes to apply a self-produced egg tempera, mixed with oak charcoal dust derived from my oak sculptures. The texture and depth of these materials resonate deeply with my craftsmanship and sculptural work.

The frame is made of oak, which adds a harmonious and natural finish to the piece.

Dimensions: 130 cm (H) x 80 cm (W) – designed in accordance with the Golden Ratio.
