A serie of five sculptures that communicates together and separately in pairs. Charred ash wood.
The objects where made during the start of the corona outbreak. China had startet to isolate part of the population as I wanted to make sculptures in pairs with a tension between them. The objects show a soft, protective sides and a threatening expression maybe wanting to change the partner. The look and feeling change as they are placed from each other. Two halves cut from the same log.
I had no idea how big this pandemi would be and how this work just got more relevant.
